Rebekah Boos completed her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in music at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) in 2021. Her research experience prior to Saint Louis University includes characterizing potential gene targets for Neuroendocrine cancer therapies (academic) and the development and validation of PCR and RT-qPCR assays for in vitro diagnostic panels (industry). Rebekah is in her third year as a PhD student in Dr. Silviya Zustiak’s lab, where her research centers on developing biomaterials for drug delivery.
