Katie Cui is a second-year PhD student in Dr. Peter Yingxiao Wang's lab from the Alfred E. Mann Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering. Her research focuses on using synthetic biology tools to create ultrasound-controllable cancer immunotherapeutics. Her goal is to develop new therapeutics and/or synthetic biological tools that would bring advancement in minimizing the on-target off-tumor effect of CAR-T cell treatment in solid tumors.
